The Robin Holly was found in 1989 by Mitch Magee in Poplarville, Mississippi. This new Holly variety was discovered as an open-pollinated seedling of the unpatented Mary Nell Holly. The Robin Holly is a beautiful and versatile holly shrub prized for its attractive foliage and festive winter berries.
