3/12/20 Update – Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak I would recommend that you checkout each event to make sure they have not been cancelled.
It’s my favorite time of year again, garden tour season! I am always so inspired by all of the talented gardeners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Since my first garden tour many years ago, I have been obsessively researching all of the best tours in DFW and across America. I am so grateful for all of the homeowners who open up their gardens and allow the public a behind the scenes look into their magical world.
Below I have organized the best ones in the area and they are in calendar order. Be sure to check their websites for more information and updates before you go, and most all of the tours are rain or shine.

Another tour that I want to mention, even though it’s not a true garden tour is the North Texas Water Garden Society Pond Tour. The tour is on June 13th & 14th and it is a 2 day self guided tour of 40 of their member ponds all across the Dallas Metroplex. The tour also consists of 14 ponds that are on the enchanted night tour that are open till 11:00 p.m. Instead of tickets they sell a tour book guide for $20 which features the pond listings, descriptions, directions and color pictures. One book per carload will get you access to everything. See the Pond Tour page for more details.
I also wanted to mention that the Southlake & Celina Garden Clubs alternate years, so they won’t be having another garden tour until 2021.
The Annual Water-Wise Landscape Tour is not until the Fall, and that is hosted by the City of Dallas. Please keep an eye out on the blog for more information on that tour later on in the year.
If you know about any other gardens tours for 2020 or 2021 please make sure to share them with me. I want to get the word out so these amazing organizations can have the best turnout possible as they serve as fundraisers.
