Sharing one of my very favorite Fall desserts right in time for Thanksgiving that became an instant classic in our family. Our good friend Laura Glass shared this recipe with us many years ago and not a year has gone by that we do not make this pie. It has the perfect amount of crust and filling but the secret is the homemade caramel sauce drizzled on at the end. The juices caramelize on the top as it bakes, creating the most perfect sweet and flaky crust.

I might have to help install some of the trees with the guys after Thanksgiving to work off the extra calories. Still, no regrets with this heavenly pie. Thank you Laura for sharing this recipe with us. We will always treasure it.
